Over at Finance Markets, Kay Murchie has a good write up of some of the broadband issues that Ofcom has been asked to look into.
We all know that sometimes the speed of the service doesn’t quite match our expectations but another issue is how long it takes to get the broadband connected in the first place. If you’re a Sky customer then you are likely to wait over three weeks to get connected. Ouch.
Still. Jan Harris, writing for The Telecom points that that Sky Broadband has secured over a million customers.
Broadband option rates continue to grow so should we be surprised we have to wait to get it installed?
The truth is that in almost every country there will be problems in getting your internet fix. SylvieKid at the BritishExpats forum has a similar tale of woe when it comes to sunny New South Wales.
