The US sites won't be allowed to enter the market. And I could have said that 5 years ago and be right, and I was. FB is banned, and no one cares about myspace anymore. You see the difference is, Qzone has better security and more entertainment value than FB, and it also doesn't suffer from the stupid adult spam or mentality of white people on there, except for the ones who can read/type Chinese - which are very few.Qzone will continue to do just fine on its own thanks. Keep the facebook losers off of Qzone and out of China. We don't need them or their spam.

Was the PR embargoed? That would make a difference. Otherwise this does seem baffling.BTW, Tory Politico's blog has the word-for-word version.

I'm pretty sure we'll hear of this again. Either this one incident will pick up enough steam and the tories will comment or it'll happen again and this will be referenced as another example.

Content is certainly still king, I agree. However, blogs still need to keep people engaged and coming back, and having a team of writers that are producing many posts a day helps to do this. But then, when does it stop becoming a blog and starts becoming a news website. Or does it? There is no line between some blogs and news websites any more.

Surely it depends on the audience and whether they are tired old web cynics who are looking for something new, or normal web users who are looking for the information, analysis or views held on the blog they're looking at.I'm pretty happy to read a blog if it's got good content and that doesn't matter whether it was put together by one person or a hundred - content, when it comes to blog quality, is still king.

I booked one of those flights yesterday on a return from the south of France to Edinburgh. It took Ryanair 3 hours to send the email itinerary which kinda got me worried (booked at 9.30pm, arrived once I was tucked up in bed).Well, you get what you pay for - I just hope we aren't invited to tie a rope around the front wheel and tow it out to the runway.
